Barrier
Barrier is a two-pack, zinc rich, epoxy primer, used as a first coat on blast cleaned steel. The steel must be prepared to SA2.5 using dry blasting (not water jetting).
Suitable for structural steel & piping to be exposed to highly corrosive environments (C5I or C5M).
When used in combination with Jotamastic 80 or Jotamastic 87, there will be a further improvement in corrosion protection.
One coat is recommended at a typical spreading rate of 7 sq. metres per litre.
Barrier can be overcoated in 2 hours at 10°C.
Available in 4L or 9L packs.
