SHIELD Underwater Primer is a specially formulated primer for use below the waterline under CU-PRO Premium Antifouling.

It can also be used to seal over existing antifouling or direct to GRP, aluminum, steel, wood or ferro cement.

SHIELD Underwater Primer was previously known as CU-Pro Primer.

If you require anti fouling paints - Go no where else! I have used all the leading antifoul manufacturers paints over 30 years. CU-PRO is the best on the market, does the best job and even cheaper than most of the others. SML are a quality company and with the best products. - David Rosser

On 15th May 2020 - after lock-down, I returned to the boat to find a heavy curtain of weed growing in a "slime" of mud on the hull.
