Jotun Safeguard Universal ES is a two-component epoxy vinyl coating. It is designed for use as a primer underneath Jotun antifouling or as a sealer coat over old antifouling. The preferred solution is to avoid as much as possible overlapping the new sealer coat on top of existing intact antifouling. If used as a tie coat applied with dry film thickness 50-75 μm on existing antifouling systems, it is recommended to add 5-10 % Jotun Thinner No. 17.
Safeguard Universal ES also provides added corrosion protection when used as part of a two-pack epoxy paint system. Antifouling can be applied directly over Safeguard Universal ES.
Available in an 18 litre pack. (15 litres Comp A + 3 litres Comp B)
Thinners No. 17 is the solvent base for Jotun's Jotamastic and Penguard range. Available in 5L & 20L sizes
Seaforce 30M is a high performance, medium to high strength, copper oxide based self-polishing antifouling that will give 2-3 years service.
High-solids, self-polishing antifouling, to be used on vessels operating in global service with drydocking intervals up to 36 months on the vertical side and up to 60 months on the flatbottom, when good fouling protection / performance is important.
Self-polishing antifouling for vessels operating in global trade, offering up to 60 months protection on flat bottom, sides and boottop, with high performance biocides and low leached layer. Recommended for vessels trading at high speed (over 18 knots) and high frequency.
Thermobonded and solvent resistant for reduced fibre shedding. Available in various lengths and pack sizes. Ideal uses - Antifouling, single & 2 pack Primers.
